If you're just reading
Nothing that identifies you is collected. No cookie banner, no advertising, no tracking across sites. Page views are counted without cookies and without building a profile of anyone, and the host keeps short-lived server logs the way any host does.
If you're a member
I hold your email address — it is your account, since signing in is a one-time link rather than a password — and a record of what you've paid for and whether it's still active. A session cookie keeps you signed in between pages. That's all of it.
Payment happens on Stripe's own page. Your card never touches this site.
Who else is involved
Supabase stores the accounts and members data, hosted in the EU. Stripe handles payments. Resend sends the sign-in emails. Vercel hosts the site and provides the cookieless page counts. Opening a members' map also loads files from unpkg and map imagery from CARTO, which see your IP address the way any map on any site does.
Nobody gets your data for advertising and I don't sell it to anyone.
How long, and your rights
Your account stays until you ask me to delete it. Payment records have to be kept for the period accounting law requires, which I can't shorten on request. Ask me any time for a copy of what I hold, a correction, or deletion — one email is enough, and I'd rather do it quickly than have you chase me. If you think I've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority (the Garante) or the equivalent where you live.
